Deposit Accounts

Share Products
Share Savings - A regular share account is the first account that you will open with the credit union.  You must maintain a minimum of $5.00, which represents your ownership of the credit union.  Your share account works just like a regular passbook account, but as an owner, you earn daily dividends, compound quarterly, on balances over $5.00.

Deposits may be made in person, by mail, payroll deduction or direct deposit.

Youth  Share Savings
What better way to teach your children and teens to save!  A $5.00 deposit in Youth accounts is all that is required for opening.

Dollars for A’s
Bring your report card into the credit union each grading period and the credit union will make a deposit of $1 into your share account for every 'A' earned per subject when a parent, guardian or relative deposits an equal or greater amount.  (Maximum deposit from the credit union is up to $6 per grading period).  Report cards must be presented each grading period before the next grading period ends to receive deposit.

Christmas/Vacation Share Accounts
The Christmas Shares lets you save money all year long for holiday shopping.  Christmas Shares are disbursed the last week of October in time for shopping.  The Vacation Shares works the just like a Christmas Shares except being disbursed the last week of April.  For both club accounts your have the option of receive a check by mail or balance transferred to your Share Saving Account or Share Draft Account.  Your accounts earn quarterly dividends on both Christmas and Vacation Share Accounts.

Share Certificates of Deposit
A CD allows you to lock in a higher interest for a fixed period of time.  The interest is paid monthly and terms of 6, 12 and 18 months are available.  Low Minimum opening deposit of $500.00.

Share Draft Accounts
The Credit Union offers Share Draft accounts that have many advantages over those of other financial institutions.

  2. No per-check or monthly fees
  3. Overdraft protection from Share Savings is available
  4. Visa Check Cards
  5. First 50 checks for with order placed with Liberty
  6. Free draft checks to member with direct deposit of Social Security

A convenient, safe way of accessing your money in your share draft checking account.
Cash Withdrawal limits:

ATM Card: Daily Withdrawal limit is $300
Visa Check Card: Point of Sale limit is $1005
